Don’t talk to me. Talk to the lead agent outside!

A lesson to be learn, good job dave!

On March 31, 2008 Sons of Maxwell began our week-long-tour of Nebraska by flying United Airlines from Halifax to Omaha, by way of Chicago. On that first leg of the flight we were seated at the rear of the aircraft and upon landing and waiting to deplane in order to make our connection a woman sitting behind me, not aware that we were musicians cried out: “My god they’re throwing guitars out there.” Our bass player Mike looked out the window in time to see his bass being heaved without regard by the United baggage handlers. My $3500 710 Taylor had been thrown before his.

RA DIOHEA_D / HOU SE OF_C ARDS

Radiohead just released a new video for its song "House of Cards" from the album "In Rainbows".

No cameras or lights were used. Instead two technologies were used to capture 3D images: Geometric Informatics and Velodyne LIDAR. Geometric Informatics scanning systems produce structured light to capture 3D images at close proximity, while a Velodyne Lidar system that uses multiple lasers is used to capture large environments such as landscapes. In this video, 64 lasers rotating and shooting in a 360 degree radius 900 times per minute produced all the exterior scenes. More..

Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul

Find more videos like this on AdGabber

For its album Dig Out Your Soul, which debuts October 7, Oasis gathered 15 street bands and taught them the lyrics and sheet music for four of its new songs.

Lat week, the bands were then deployed all over the city -- mostly to subways -- to perform the music with their own flavor. Each performance featured a little sign that said, "You are the first to hear this new Oasis song" -- bringing a little bit of magic to busy commuters, and some eclectic street charm to Oasis's new oeuvre.

Nice to see the high-profile artists disseminate their music with such an open-arms, interpretive approach. Feels so human.

Muse - Black Holes & Revelations

Ok ok..i know this is not the LATEST album in the market..its been selling for months (or do i dare say a year already?) now..but, posted this in multiply..so, just thought i'd place them here as well..

started listening to Muse since a few years back, starting with their 'New Born'..kinda interested with their art direction and cryptical lyrics.. they have this indie-sophisticated-dark-emo-lyrically-hard-twisted yet sometimes-classical-piano-tune-band thing goin on.. the vocal of Bellamy and his Romantic-Rachmaninoff-piano-tune drives hard yet melancholic messages across.. the guitar riffs and drums...inspires and uplifting, despite the dark messages..i dunno..it gets to your head.. 'nuff of that now..on to me review of this album "Black Holes and Revelations"..

-----

The album were released with 11 tracks

Take a Bow

-the depressing song of d album. With lines of "You will risk all the lives and their souls, And burn, you will burn, You will burn in hell, Yeah you'll burn in hell, You'll burn in hell, Yeah you'll burn in hell For your sins" in the lyrics, well, lets just say u cant get any more depressing than that.

Starlight

-hmm, i kinda enjoy this one. Reminds me of an oldie or a marching song (bnyk sgt lagu dalam kepala) ref to the drum beats as well as the piano undertones. Fans might comment on the lazy rhyming in the chorus; "Our hopes and expectations, black holes and revelations", but to me its the endearing quirks of the band. Luv d line "Far away from the memories, Of the people who care if I live or die "..vidclip somehow reminds me of LinkinPark's 'what i've done'..

Supermassive Black Hole

-this is the song that has fans all over the world laming and flaming the band, just bcoz its so unlike anythg thay had heard from Muse before. I do agree that its not Muse material with similarities to a song by britney spears, but still, its in nature to evolve and and for bands to experiment. Bsides, to be compared to Radioheads wud put a strain on any band rite..? and the clip? well, kinda surreal to say the least, up to the point of paranoia..

Map of the Problematique

-my fave track in the album. Loved the intro, love the guitar, love the DRUM, love the SONG. Depressing and yet beautiful. Depressingly artistic..catch the invisible drum set..

Soldier’s Poem

-the "ballad" song of the album? perhaps the slowest tempo of music from muse since Unintended? ahahaha lyrics is nice for the song..complemented each other well..reminded me of Ave Maria sumhow..a small sample from d song atleast..

Invincible

-lagu naik semangat.."Follow through, Make your dreams come true, Don't give up the fight, You will be alright, 'Cos there's no-one like you, In the universe" The drums yang mahal tuh..wahwahwah..until they got into the song at around 2mins when it sounded pop-py..but watch out for the guitar solo at about 3:30mins into the song. Breathless...vidclip is also kinda trippy, but good nonetheless..

Assassin

-contrary to general assumption, its not about killing recklessly. The intro is what i wud relate akin to bunyi cemas..or wat gig-goers wud call headbanging-sound(correct me if im wrong ok), but generally its the sound reminisce of the Absolution album. hmm..

Exo-Politics

-the kind of song that wud have u tapping ur feet and bobbing ur head unconciously..cant say much bout d lyrics tho..hmm..freeeky bobbin ur head to lyrics as such; "When the zetas fill the skies, Will our leaders tell us why, Fully loaded satellites, Will conquer nothing but our minds"..oh yeah, Bellamy believes in all this conspiracy theory & stuff..but hey, who am i to say anything right? he's still the greatest..

City of Delusion

A song of vengeance? Bitterness? "Destroy this City of Delusion, Break these walls down, I will avenge, Justify my reasons, With your blood"

Hoodoo

Intro that's compared to Western Spaghetti movies. Hehe, kinda fitting as soon as d vocals kicks in..self righteousness or self sacrifice? hmm, portrays the conflicts of being too caring and too ...psyched out towards someone? who knows..tapi music xkena dgn subject matter ok..Hoodoo refers to an African traditional folk magic..

Knights of Cydonia

The most radical anti establishment song ever..cynical to the extreme..hahahaha..well, atleast dats how i perceive it..from "No'ones gonna take me alive, The time has come to make things right, You and I must fight for our rights, You and I must fight to survive" to "And how can we win?, When fools can be Kings, Dont waste your time, Or time will waste you..."..kewl....and the videoclip has got to be the most weird somehow non related visual association to the song..

well, that about it and its time for me to wrap up this review..honestly, they're just the band for any situation..always a song for any moods..have a listen, to 'Black Holes and Revelations' as well as their previous albums as well..

hidden message

Been hearing about this phenomenon for quite sometime now. From The Eagles-Hotel California and even to Eminem-My Name Is..didn't really put much stock in it regardless of how many faithfuls and believers seem to find this phenomenon as concrete evidence of satanic subliminal hints. It's the claim that certain songs contain hidden messages if played backwards, slowed down, fast forward or all of these to get to the hidden messages.

I've had my doubts about these dubious claims, but after seeing this clip, i'm beginning to doubt about what i want to believe.. Look through this clip, showing Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven sound analysis.

Have a read on wiki about this subject..Feel that cold chill streaming down your consciousness? That's called FEAR...
